Recently Indusvent took ownership of a 2nd warehouse in Greater Manchester, significantly increasing our warehousing capacity.  This allows us to further increase our stockholding of industrial vacuum cleaners, dust filters, centrifugal fan sets, Rotary valves, galvanised clipped assembly ducting, PU flexible hose and critical spare parts for all our system installations.

This strategy decision was taken to provide better support for our customer base ensuring all standard system components are available for same day or next day delivery. If you are looking for any of the above parts, please contact us, this expansion project has been ongoing for some months throughout 2024 and is now complete…we are ready to deliver with improved lead times.

The staff from all three @Indusvent regional offices convened in Scotland for an LEV workshop, where we delved into our aftersales activities, focusing on the Thorough Examination and Testing of our customer LEV systems. This gathering provided a fantastic opportunity to meticulously review our processes and ensure that the practices across all three regions are harmonized. We firmly believe in delivering a first-class aftersales service that our customers truly deserve.

Amidst our visit, the group had the chance to immerse themselves in the local culture by exploring the renowned Kelpies and Helix Park in Falkirk.

The aftersales teams from @Indusvent, representing various regions across the UK, embarked on a visit to one of our esteemed customers in Grangemouth, @Carronvale Timber Frame. Carronvale Timber Frame specialises in crafting timber frame panels and floor cassettes for the private development market. The primary aim of this visit was to provide our dedicated admin teams, who are typically firmly stationed behind their desks, with an up-close look at our systems in action.

During our visit, we had the pleasure of meeting with Mr. Jim Simpson, the Factory Manager, who has remained a loyal @Indusvent customer for over two decades. Impressively, he has acquired four extraction systems from @Indusvent, which serves as a testament to our enduring partnership.

Following a significant investment in CAD software Indusvent projects team have been using Inventor 3D for some years now…recently we took the time to review this by bringing our Projects Co-ordination team from all three Indusvent regional offices together to attend an in-house Inventor 3D workshop at our Midlands and South England regional office located in Bromsgrove.

We discussed the various drawing standards with high focus on detailing all new enquiries in 3D from the outset this to produce improved pricing, accuracy and the time efficiency to convert a proposal/enquiry drawing into a detailed installation drawing for a project without the need for manual processing or duplication.

This was a great opportunity for knowledge sharing between the 3 regional teams and review all our standard operating procedures in place for this area of the business…We firmly believe in delivering a first-class service from the outset starting with the Design and we now have an improved new standard which is aligned across the company. This brings flexibility for our projects team to support other regional offices on demand.

The agenda covered all the various drawing requirements from how to produce foundation layouts for filter equipment concrete bases, crane lifting drawings, electrical drawings for site cabling and controls, General Arrangements for every model of system in 1st Angle Projection, preferred ductwork design standard, considerations in design to allow suitable location of LEV test points for LEV TExT examinations, how to detail drawings for manufacture non-standard items and duct manifold design.

It’s not every day we can get our Projects Co-ordination team together in one place, so after much debating and presenting from the team we took the opportunity to visit a local client in Cradley Heath. An Indusvent customer for many decades who have also recently expanded their dust extraction system with the addition of 2 x New Indusvent Super-Blower systems.
