When one of the UK’s largest timber importers and distributors decided it was time to upgrade their dust extraction system, they entrusted Indusvent for the design, supply and installation.

Phase 1 of this project comprising the upgrade and relocation of the existing trailer loading system and dust extraction to 2 off Vecoplan Timber Chipping machines, this also enabled the opportunity to improve the site layout by increasing capacity the current arrangement being 2 x shavings trailers is now extended to 4 x shavings trailers in a new location and enable space for the new extraction filters and associated fans, this has also improved site safety and efficiency of trailer changeovers.  The system is now fully operational, and the customer can focus on timber machining while their new trailer loading system automatically switches to a new trailer when full via Indusvent’s unique pressure sensing system.
